The updated Credo of Christopher Bell Jr., Ed.D., aka Kwasi Ankoanna Asante at the age of 88 (March 2022)

I will with soulful efforts: love and show kindness to my spouse; embrace my children and partner with them on worthwhile projects; express and show gratitude for my gift of life by helping others, as I am able, to cope with their survival and security needs; bring pride and honor to my ancestors and to the humanity of the people in the various communities that contributed to my up-bringing by treating all persons whom I meet with respect, fairness, dignity, and compassion.

I will by way of my teachings, writings, and speaking boldly engage in activities that help to stop the "Jesus Christ worshiping protocol" of Black people, in order to nullify or prevent them from continuing to become afflicted with the detrimental psychological, emotional, and self-oppressing effects of a White Superiority Syndrome (WSS) (Note 1) that generally results from such worship.

(Note 1) A White Superiority Syndrome (WSS) is the internalized belief or notion (state of mind) that white people as a group are inherently, genetically and esoterically better human beings that black (nonwhite) people. This belief is the result of the acculturation of both the Black and White child by several key instrumentalities of America's racist culture and one of these instrumentalitiesis the practice of Jesus worshiping

Commentary: In Christianity, white men bow and pray to an image of their own likeness, Jesus Christ, as their Lord and Savior; and black men bow and pray to the same image

I contend that "Jesus worshiping" is equivalent to "white male worshiping"and that it is idolatrous; that Jesus worship is One of the black man's most misguided, self-debilitating, mental and emotional self-oppressive and self-demeaning acts.

I contend that such worship instills and afflicts most black and white people with a White Superiority Syndrome (WSS). I contend that White people afflicted with this syndrome will acquire a sense of white racial superiority that often leads them (white people) toward the practice of white racism!

I contend that Black people afflicted with this syndrome will acquire a sense of black racial inferiority that often leads them toward, self-hate, self-oppression, and unhealthy emotional and psychological stresses.

I will engage in conversation, debate, and discussion with Black preachers, Black community leaders, and Black college educated people, and teachers/preachers of Jesus worship to ensure they are aware of the detrimental psychological effects of such worship on black people and I will present argument and reasoning to encourage them to stop such worship and begin teaching a "new Christianity." I have and will suggest to them that this "new Christianity" should (a) view Jesus as a human being and Jewish prophet who is to be respected, but not to be worshiped, and (b) eliminate the superstitions and supernaturalisms that now entangle Black people's worship protocol and Christianity.

I will be bold, vigilant, and aggressive, as appropriate, in calling the American Public's attention to The Grand Old White American Racial Hypocrisy which is the failure of White America to grant non-white people the same privileges of liberty, Justice, and equality of opportunity as espoused in the U.S. Declaration of Independence, the U.S. Constitution, and the American Creed (Note 2) that they allow for themselves.

(Note 2) The American Creed (Adopted by the Congress in 1918) reads as follows:

"I believe in the United States of America as a government of the people, by the people, for the people; whose just powers are derived from the consent of the govern, a democracy in a republic, a Sovereign Nation of many sovereign States; a perfect union, one and inseparable; established upon those principles of freedom, equality, justice, and humanity for which American patriots sacrificed their lives and fortunes.

I therefore believe it is my duty to my country to love it, to support its Constitution, to obey its laws. To respect its flag and to defend it against all enemies."

Commentary: The Grand Old American White Racist Hypocrisy presently exhibited by White Americans is a fallout from their feelings and belief that White people are superior to non-white people. This hypocrisy (The Grand Old American White Racist Hypocrisy) is generally prompted by several White controlled key cultural institutions such as: public education, police power, the judicial and prison systems, the banking systems, most employment opportunities, the news and entertainment media, the political system, and the dominant cultural religious orientation, which includes promoting the Jesus Worshiping.

I will seek friendship with, work with, and worship with like-minded people who honor the texts of the Declaration of Independence and the American Creed, and who are engaged in efforts to encourage white Americans to abandon their Grand Old White American Racist Hypocrisy and its attendant behavior patterns.
